The big ones didn’t get away in 2015. It started with a big summer in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, then I hitched the wagon west to Jefferson State.
1,254 miles later I teamed up with Rooch to get the job done.
We mainly fished for steelhead on the Trinity outside of Lewiston. Egg patterns and intruders (small ones) were hot. There were a few days where we grilled the steelhead on cedar at Rooch’s pad in Redding.
